Pair of Baker Asian Inspired Chinoiserie Side or End Tables

Exceptional pair of large-scale Asian inspired side or end tables with polychrome chinoiserie and Greek key motif by Baker Furniture. The top of each table features four chinoiserie scenes that are placed so as to be enjoyed from all sides. Tables are painted on all four sides and are suitable for “floating” in a room. Hand-painted finish is composed of a red base coat with matte black top coat with all-over craquelure. Figures and motifs are incised and painted and the tables have an “antiqued” finish. Tables have much more subtle colors than are represented in the photography.
